Environment description: Frequently flooded bottomland where gamagrass covers several hundres acres in a thick stand. 0 to 0.1% slope with full exposure. Trinity clay soil. Average annual precipitation of 40 inches. Associated with blue-stem, Indian grass, and Johnson grass.
