Environment description: Along roadside creek and ditch. <1% slope. Miller, clay soil. Average annual precipitation of 38 inches. Associated with blue-stem, dewberry, Johnson grass, and Virginia wild rye.
Comment: Collected from >6 plants. Difficult to collect seed as they ripen and drop quickly. Seed left on plant is, in most cases, not ripe.
