Locality: Near village of Mezhgoram, east of Tepelene.

Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Fruit collected from 2 trees (bagged separately as A and B) ~ .5 km apart. Tree A seems to be slightly pyraster-like.
Comment: Joint Albania - U.S. expedition Fruit on tree A 3 cm. diam x 3 cm. high, more pyriform, stem swollen at base. Fruit on tree B 2.3 cm diam. x 2.5 cm. high, yellow with red blush, little russet and only slightly pyriform.
