Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Small village in mountains SW of Tepelene. Terraced agricultural slopes, mostly small pastures separated by hedgerows of Cornus mas, Prunus mahaleb, blackberry, oak, pear.
Comment: Joint Albania - U.S. expedition Fruit green with little russet ~ 2.5 cm. diam. 1.8 cm. high. According to guide Ferdin, it is customary in this region to boil the ripe pear fruits and drink the sweet liquid.
