Locality: Nacogdoches County, off County Road 711, 2.0 mi south of junction with Highway 21.
Coordinates: 31.5932, -94.7075 (Map it)
Environment description: With large (> 3 m diameter) sweet gum, plenty of local J. nigra, also many black hickory.
Comment: 45 cm dbh, tight furrowed bark, leaning over road, dropping nuts. Leaves present, some regeneration growth, extreme variation in nut size, much abortion of small nuts.
