Locality: Deception Pass State Park-Take Exit 230 (Anacortes/Burlington) off Interstate 5 and head west on highway 20. After 12 miles, cross the bridge to Fidalgo Island, Turn left heading towards Whidbey Island. Go 6 miles, after passing lake, turn right on Rosario Rd, Then immediately turn left on Bowman Bay Rd. into the park. Walk along trial that parallels the shoreline to reach wetland,<1/4 mile.
