Description:
A 1H+4H+5H iBISON line was derived from the cross of BCD47/Baronesse, F1 with BCD12/Baronesse, F1 and followed by three generations of MAS and five generations of selfing. To develop BISON 1H+4H+5H, iBISON 1H+4H+5H was backcrossed twice to Baronesse, and progeny were screened for the target allele(s) using molecular markers. Two generations of selfing and screening for target alleles proceeded. The final selection was based on the presence of target allele(s) and maximum percentage of Baronesse background.
