Environment description: Wet meadow with Polytrichum commune, Hydrocotyle vulgaris, Polygonum persicaria, Paspalum dilatatum, and Conyza canadensis. (Other notes: very wet place, Adjara is the wettest region of the Caucasus and whole Black Sea Region, where the Mt. Mtirala rainforest, east of Chakvi receives around 4500 mm (177 inches) of precipitation per year. (Like the Amazonia Rain Forest in Brasil, Peru and Venezuela, with average annual precipitation that can reach the 4000 mm).)
