Locality: Fayette County. Just west of Route 381 on north shore of Youghiogheny River, upstream from Ohiopyle Falls.
Coordinates: 39.8711, -79.4936 (Map it)
Environment description: Area is not vegetated in some areas with other herb dominated. Growing here are Panicum virgatum, Sorghastrum nutans, Salix nigra, Coreopsis tripteris. The Andropogon gerardii is definitely native.
