Environment description: Graminoid dominated meadow with scattered trees at the base of steep cliffs; area is clearly inundated at times by evidence of wrack. Growing in association are Panicum virgatum, Cornus amomum, C. racemosa, Solidago gigantea, Sorghastrum nutans, Amorpha fruticosa, Teucrium canadense, Symphyotrichum ericoides.
Comment: Clearly native - interesting population growing in nice habitat. GAZETTEER: P. 66, 4B
