Locality: Warren County. South bank of Hudson River, also on river at North Creek more to the east.
Coordinates: 43.7000, -73.9786 (Map it)
Environment description: Ice scoured edge of river as well as rock outcroppings jutting into water. Plants also occur along adjacent railroad bed less than 10 meters away; not a lot of habitat here. Growing in association are Schizachyrium scoparium; definitely native.
Comment: Historical site, right habitat, but not everywhere. Relatively small population scattered in patches.
