Locality: Genesee County. Along old railroad bed just southwest of the Byron Bergen Wildlife area. Major Land Resource Area 140.
Environment description: All ballast was removed. There once was switchgrass in this area; since the bed was stripped of ballast, apparently the switchgrass did not survive, but the Andropogon did.
