Locality: Jefferson County. North side of Black River in Brownville, behind south side of elementary school. Major Land Resource Area 142.
Coordinates: 43.9997, -75.9733 (Map it)
Environment description: A flat rim of the Black River with bedrock close to the surface. Mostly w/o trees although there are some widely spaced in spots. Predominantly low herbs and shrubs. A bit weedy behind school with some evidence of disturbance.
