Locality: Near Deans Hills State Nature Preserve, approximately 7 miles east of Ramsey, T8N R2E Sec. 10 and NE 1/4 of Sec. 16, Fayette County.

Environment description: Gentle rolling hills of deciduous woods.
Number of plants sampled: 4
Associated species: Acer saccharum, Asimina triloba, Carya, Celtis, Cornus, Juglans nigra, Platanus occidentalis, Prunus americana, P. serotina, Quercus, Sassafras albidum, Staphylea trifolia, Tilia americana, and Vitis riparia. Noted Catalpa and Corylus americana along roadside on west edge of Deans Hills.
Comment: Noted one female loaded with pods, but all pods were void of seeds. Noted another female loaded with pods with only one seed per 3 pods. Latitude, longitude, and elevation averaged between all specimens sampled. Coordinates for each mother tree may be provided upon request.
