Associated species: Acer negundo, Aesculus glabra, Asimina triloba, Celtis occidentalis, Fagus sylvatica, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Juglans nigra, Lindera benzoin, Platanus occidentalis, Quercus, Toxicodendron radicans, and Vitis riparia.
