Environment description: Mixed deciduous woods.

Associated species: Acer negundo, Aesculus glabra, Celtis occidentalis, Platanus occidentalis, Quercus macrocarpa, Rosa multiflora, Smilax rotundifolia, Ulmus.
Comment: Ulmus were in bud swell (02/17/2010). Noted some type of animal stacking pods near burrow, most likely eating/storing seeds. Noted unique turquoise green color to river. Latitude, longitude, and elevation averaged between all specimens sampled. Coordinates for each mother tree may be provided upon request.
