Narrative
This is a selection of RSD 1998041. Of 63 seeds of RSD 1998041, 12 geminated. ISSR markers revealed that all seedlings were unique and therefore zygotic(work performed by Prof Mikeal Roose, 2001). On 01/08/2009, three selections were made of this accession and propagated for maintenance under protection: RRUT 401, RRUT 402, and RRUT 409. The remainder of the seedlings will be maintained for the time being. RRUT 402 produces fruit with a medium-thick rind. (RR Krueger, 01/31/2010)
