Narrative
This is a selection of RSD 1998041. Of 63 seeds of RSD 1998041, 12 geminated. ISSR markers revealed that all seedlings were unique and therefore zygotic(work performed by
Prof Mikeal Roose
, 2001). On 01/08/2009, three selections were made of this accession and propagated for maintenance under protection: RRUT 401, RRUT 402, and RRUT 409. The remainder of the seedlings will be maintained for the time being. RRUT 402 produces fruit with a medium-thick rind. (RR Krueger, 01/31/2010)
