Narrative
Released to document the dual purpose ornamental and forage characteristics of the line. Large stems and dark green leaves and flowers are a creamy yellow color. Generally somewhat slower to establish than other forage type cultivars, has limited forage potential. Lower growing types that flower profusely during the growing season.

Description:
The name Arblick was originally given to PI 262839 by the USDA/SCS (now NRCS) at some point after introduction. Numerous experiments have been conducted using this material labeled as either PI 262839 or Arblick. Recent molecular marker research by Mass et. al., 2010, indicated that the materials that we have recently evaluated as Arblick has a genetic similarity coefficient less than 1.0 compared to PI 262839 received from PGRCU. Thus a new PI Number was assigned.
