Environment description: Redrock sandstone cliffs along Colorado River. Full sun; slope 20-85 deg. with northwestern (300 deg.) aspect. Red, sandy, well drained soil. Assoc. w/ Artemesia, Atriplex canescens, Juniperinus utahensis, Quercus gambelli, & Q. turbinella.
Number of plants sampled: 10
Comment: Population of >50 plants on 2 acres; frequently abundant with uniform distribution. Permission to collect required from the Bureau of Land Management.
