Narrative
Depending on climate and soil conditions it can produce up to 3.9 mg forage DM yr-1 ha-1 and over 800 kg seed ha-1 yr-1. Will be ideal for those seeking native annual legume germplasm for wildlife plantings or in native grassland restoration efforts. Smooth-seeded wild bean, warm-season annual, trailing legume with pinnately compound trifoliate leaves, pink flowers, and smooth, shiny seeds. Indeterminate flowering, dehiscent seed pods, high percentage hard seed, and adaptation to a wide range of soil types, providing desirable reseeding capability.
