Locality: Take exit 230 (Anacortes/Burlington) off Interstate 5 and head west on Highway 20. After 12 miles, cross the bridge to Fidalgo Island, and turn left to go to Whidbey Island. Go six miles, and after passing Pass Lake, turn right on Rosario Road, and then immediately turn left on Bowman Bay Road into the park. Park in the parking lot, and walk along the trail that parallels the shoreline to reach the wetland, less than 1/4 of a mile.

Environment description: Depressional wetland. Organic, black soil.
Associated species: Chenopodium rubrum, Distichlis spicata, Eleocharis palustris, and Symphyotrichum subspicatum.
