Environment description: Impressively large (wide and long) grassland off the Allegheny River. Thin soils over cobbles and gravels; full exposure. Panicum virgatum and Spartica pectinata dominate.
Number of plants sampled: 325
Comment: Also growing are Apocyanum cannibinum, Salix interior, S. nigra, Phalaris arundi. At least 188 plants are clearly native.
