Locality: South end of Island and along southwest edge of island; Graminoid dominated meadow immediately off of river, Saratoga County.
Coordinates: 42.7769, -73.6900 (Map it)
Environment description: Scattered trees at the base of steep cliffs; thin alluvial soils; also wrack from the Mohawk river. Associated vegetation: Andropogon gerardi, Cornusamomum, C. racemosa, Solidago gigantea, Sorghastrum nutans.
Number of plants sampled: 500
Comment: Clearly native - interesting population growing in nice habitat
