Locality: Route 28 south from the Glen 3.3 miles; make right and go on road which parallels Hudson River until the road is immediately adjacent to the east side of river. Head south until just before the road bends awan from the river, Warren County.

Environment description: Gorgeous ice scoured graminoid dominated meadow; growing in association are Sorghastrum nutans, Andropogon gerardi, Dasiplora floribunde, Sarguisorba canadanses, Scleria and riglomerata. Soil: sandy, gravelly soil over cobbles and boulders

Comment: Definitely native - in the right habitat. Scattered generally throughout the region
