Locality: From Sparta south to Anoghia and then to Paleppanaghia. Drove to the end of the pavement to Maganiari then on dirt road to South Hiking Refuge. Hiked the trail to Mt Taygetos.

Environment description: Medium sized rocky drainage on upper slope of major ridge. East facing, 20o slope, full sun.
