Locality: On west side of Highway 69, 1.6 miles south of (northernmost) County Road 32; North of Greensboro, AL if coming from south on Highway 69, about 25 yards south of mile marker 115. From the north about a 1/4 mile south of mailbox 25643.

Environment description: East exposure. On a slight slope. Growing under trees in part shade. A sandy loam soil. Found growing with Helianthus angustifolius, Rudbeckia and Oaks; N32.79712 W-87.59185, 4m accuracy per Garmin GPS 60CSx.
Number of plants sampled: 15
Comment: Seeds collected randomly from 15 of approximately 30 plants. 1 plant was dug. Population was uniform and occasional in an area of 2m sq; linear extent 2m.
