Environment description: North exposure. On a slight slope. About 25% of seed heads brown,75% still green. Found growing with Helianthus angustifolius and Magnolias; N31.12933 W-87.29635, 4m accuracy per Garmin GPS 60CSx.

Comment: Seeds collected from 10 in a population of 10 plants. Population was uniform and rare in an area of 100m sq; linear extent 100m.
