Environment description: Cape Martyan Reserve is one of the few remaining areas of natural crimean vegetation along the south eastern shore. Collection site was in a small depression that provides seasonal drainage into the sea. The sea was approximately 10 m south. Saw very few annual medics in the Reserve, only native annual clover species. May have seen Medicago marina along shoreline but was difficult to identify without flowers (Collector Notes); Associated Species: Quercus pubescens, Juniperus excelsa, Arbutus andrachne, Piscia mutica, Purcus ponticus, Cirtus tauricus; Land Element: open depression; Aspect: SW; Exposure: 1/2 shade; Slope: 0-5%; Soil pH: unknown; Soil Moisture: seasonally dry; Soil Texture: coarse sand
