Narrative
Records indicate that this accession is a hybrid between M. sativa subsp. falcata and M. sativa subsp. sativa. Records do not indicate the improvement status of this germplasm, but suggest PI 235818 to PI 235834 are ecotypes collected from various parts of Sweden. Previously considered lost, this older Plant Introduction was rediscovered when the Beltsville Medicago Species Collection was donated to the USDA National Plant Germplasm System in 2007 (S.L.Greene, Curator, 2008 ).
