Environment description: Wooded understory. Essentially full shade. Generally located along north facing 40% slope.
Number of plants sampled: 18
Associated species: Quercus rubra, Staphylea trifolia, and Tilia americana.
Comment: Population of approximately 50 plants. Very few fruits still present at time of collection. Permission to collect granted by Paula Cross, Illinois Historic Preservation Agency.
