Synthetic based on 18 inbreds with superior general combining ability (GCA). Parentage was about 50% temperate; performance should optimize in subtropical regions like Hawaii. Advanced through 5 cycles of recurrent selection, has excellent form and agronomic traits in Hawaii. Predominantly yellow flint with ~5% white kernels.
