Locality: Needmore, Winston County, at welcome sign on route 195. Just northeast of Gravel Pit Road.

Environment description: Brown-grey clay loam soil, along edge of road in open field. Associated with : Morus nigra, Plantago major and Broussonetia papyrifera.
Comment: Large colony of strawberries about 7 m wide, leaves were very long - about 8 cm. Runners were collected. Fruit desiccated, may be the result of March freeze.
