Narrative
University California Riverside field 4C was planted May 28, 1979 from seeds that were known to be large and high in oil (more than 0.45 g oil/seed). When collecting the seed on July 15, 2004 it was difficult to distinguish rows and plots. There were many volunteer plants, broken and overlapping trees present as well as some trees missing.
