Environment description: Along dirt road along the stream bank of the Santa Ana River-stream like at this point-upper watershed in the San Bernardino National Forest. Exposure, along stream bank N and S, Slope, 0-1% Aspect, Both N and S facing of stream bank.

Narrative
Flower color: Lavender-Purple; prostrate- spreading, dominant in places with other meadow species such as carex, stream willows. This collection was made as part of an informal southern California and Baja California native perennial clover collection program with Prof. Norm Taylor, University of Kentucky, due to Australian and American interest in characterizing remote Baja California cousins of this species with other southern California types of this species.
