Narrative
Sam Benowitz (Raintree Nursery, Morton, Washington) received seeds from Clive Simms, in Lincolnshire, England. Simms received seeds from a commercial source in England. The Cathay quince is very spiny, has pale pinkish flowers and large fruits which are produced more freely (in Lincolnshire, England) than those of Pseudocydonia sinensis. - C. Simms, March 2006
