Locality: 65 miles east of Tallahassee, Florida; rest area pull off on Interstate 10 W. Between Suwannee River and Madison, near Twin Rivers State Forest. Scatered throughout, around perimeter of wooded walking area near parking.

Environment description: Sandy soil, under loblolly pine forest. Associated with Vaccinium arboreum, Vaccinium stamineum, Vitis, poison ivy (Rhus). Plants plentiful where light came through wooded area.
Comment: Fruit up to 1 cm length; drupelets small; poor set primary fruit beginning to ripen. Rest of berries red. Open pollinated population sample of about 25 plants.
