Locality: On a rugged road that takes off from CA 1 at the roadside puebla of Las Mesitas, a couple miles east of La Mesilla at the Guatemala/Mexican border.

Environment description: Huge limestone outcrop at edge of a plateau. Visible below from a hairpin curve in the road. This is that start of a very extensive coffee plantation know as Finca Villa Laura.
