Type = Plum. Per World of Fruit (http://www.webvalley.co.uk/brogdale/displayplum.php?p_id=554): "An Italian plum received by the National Fruit Trials in 1958 from Ansaloni's nurseries, Bologna. Fruit medium to soft, little juicy flesh with a rather poor flavour. Flowering: 10% open: 18/04. Full Flower: 22/04. 90% over: 04/05. Fruit: Colour: yellow. Size: medium. Shape: round-oblong. Season: Mid August. Use: Culinary. Stone: clinging."
