Locality: Collected along road between Gergeti and Samba, near the town of Kazbegi in the Khevi province, Georgia (Collector's notes).

Environment description: Population contained approximately 700 individual plants; was occasional and irregular. Size of the site was 600 square meters, 25 degrees slope with N.E. aspect. Alpine soil,Steep slope of Gergetti mountain. (Collector's notes).

Comment: Collected from site 7. Steep slope of Gergeti mountain. This area consists mainly of Meso to Cenozoic deposits. Ancient Precambrian and Paleozoic formations are poorly represented and of secondary importance ( Collectors notes).
