Locality: Collected at 17 km on Borjomi Bakuriani road, near the town of Bakuriani in the Kartli province, Georgia (Collector's notes).

Environment description: Population contained approximately 500 individual plants; was occasional and irregular. Size of the site was 4000 square meters, 12 degrees slope with W aspect (Collector's notes).

Comment: Collected from site 2. T. caucasicum is growing in understory of artificial pine forest (Pinus nigra, introduced), which is planted along the road and forms dense stands (Collector's notes).
