Narrative
Tall tree (7 meters in height) with thick half rounded foliage; leaves are oblong with dark green color with smooth branches and shoots that are hanging down. Fruits are large (10-12 grams) and pear shaped; fleshy, juicy, pleasant sour taste, tender with dark red juice; stone is medium size, spindle shaped and red. Ripens in September-October (Tavush region, Armenia). Usage: fresh eating, jelly, and compote.
