Rampant climber, tendrils; covering shrubs and climbing into trees to 3 m. Leaves dull medium green, darker veins above, paler and glossy beneath. Fruit dull medium green obovoid 4.8 cm long 4.3 cm across, punctate, flesh pale orange, seeds brown.
