Environment description: steep slope, southeast exposure, 254mm average precipitation with Ribes sp., Prunus viginiana, Rhus glabra
Comment: soil is talus slope. rock fragments are of a light colored salt and pepper granite or similar rock, apparently very hard, not much soil material, collected from single plant
