Environment description: Steep slope, Northern exposure, 254mm average precipitation, with Rosa sp., Purshia sp., Penstemon sp., Agropyron sp, Po Polypodiaceae, Festuca idahsensis, Eriogonum sp.
Comment: Soil is a massive rock outcrop, rock is light colored, micaceous rock with a grain like gneiss, collected from 6- plus plants
