F. Triplett was in close contact with Dr. Harold Olmo, University of California, Davis. This selection was also donated to Foundation Plant Material Service, University of California, Davis. Black wine variety. Per Christenson (see citation): "Shows excellent viticultural and wine making potentional...black selection of excellent fruit composition and characteristics."
