Narrative
F. Triplett was in close contact with Dr. Harold Olmo, University of California, Davis. This selection was also donated to Foundation Plant Material Service, University of California, Davis. Black wine variety. Per FPMS Newsletter (see citation: "Another black selection, F-16, has the highest titratable acidity of any cultivar experience in the Central Valley, and it never rots. It should be retained for breeding purposes."
