Narrative

Single-stemmed, low-branched tree. 4 meters in height. 18 cm D.B.H. at ground. Brown and tan-orange bark, exfoliating. Leaves opposite, oval; 4 cm wide and 7.5 cm long; prominent orange tufts of hair in vein axils on underside. Fruit drupe to 1.5 cm long.
