#9101 Max (ACX-2078), muskmelon (F1), monoecious vine adapted to most areas, resistant to powdery mildew Race 1 and Fusarium wild Race 2. Fruit abscission non-slipping. Maturity 85 days from seeding to harvest. Fruit 18 x 15 cm, 2200 grams; oval, netted, conspicuous blossom scar, ribs absent. Excellent shipping quality. Rind net abundant covers entire fruit, medium coarse, some interlacing, shallow interstices. Rind hard, white-cream becoming buff at full maturity, with buff net color. Flesh orange at cavity to center and green near rind; aroma faint, flavor somewhat spicy.
