Narrative
Climbing shrub. Branches glabrous, center of the branches white. Leaves glabrous, triangular-ovate, subcordate at base. Fruits purple black. When this accession was cultivated in the field in Ames, Iowa, heavy fruiting was observed during the course of regeneration, and it was difficult to eradicate the plants after the successful completion of seed regeneration. Plants are extremely tolerant to glyphosate. In Iowa, there was significant winter damage to stems, but, in a milder climate, this accession could be a rather aggressive colonizer.
