Breeder: University of California, Davis, and Hort. Field Sta., USDA, La Jolla, California. Parentage: 45 and PMR introduction from India. Characteristics: vigorous vine, heavy green foliage, high sugar, fruit excellent flavor, but poor net. Resistance: all known races of powdery mildew. Similar to PMR 45. Adaptation: Imperial Valley of California. Proc. Amer. Soc. Hort. Sci. 47:347-356. 1946.
